Like Dust Settling in a Dim-Lit Room (Or Starless Forest), by Jake Benzinger
Like Dust Settling in a Dim-Lit Room (Or Starless Forest) constructs a liminal world that explores the intersection of reality, dream, and memory. Through photography, this body of work functions as a mirror, a reflection of [Jake’s] inner psyche and an investigation of identity, relationships, the domestic, and the natural world.
527 Drum Heller rd., by Ty Gagliardone
In 527 Drum Heller rd., Ty Gagliardone explores the significance of his childhood home, a structure built by his parents. Through this thesis work, he delves into the value system and way of life embodied by his parents as they pursued their goals—a guiding influence as he navigates his own path forward. A selection of images were presented in handmade 40”x32” Ash frames that were double splined and finished with paste wax.
