jen is an interdisciplinary artist interested in the construction of the American identity both in how it is represented and how it is lived in. she examines contemporary America through the lens of popular culture, history, religion and tourism using rites, rituals and experiences where meaning is emphasized and considered by way of sound, celebration, prayer and record.
jen has an MFA from The School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and Tufts University.
she divides her time between Cambridge, MA and her home state of Maine.
