Interdisciplinary artist and curator Jen Barrows received her MFA in Studio Art from The School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, at Tufts University. Barrows maintains a studio practice working in still and moving image, video performance, and sculpture at her studio in Maine.

Personal research interests include the built environment and the commercial vernacular, craft, popular culture, and the socio-economics of urban and rural North America. 

She has fabricated permanent large scale public art pieces installed across the United States. Her solo artwork has been exhibited internationally.  She is an adjunct professor in Photography and Interdisciplinary Studies at Lesley Art + Design and the Founder of Gravedigger’s Daughter.
